Nimar Cave is located on the picturesque Paradise Island, which is connected to the mainland by a narrow strait with an unusual name - Deceitful. You can get here in different ways: by sea, bus, car, moped, bicycle or even on foot. From the center of Marmaris to the final stop Yalancı Boğaz, a minibus runs every 20 minutes from the Tansaş supermarket. After getting off at the final stop, you will have to walk about 500 meters along a narrow path along the rocks, over a wooden bridge and stone steps leading directly to the entrance to the cave. The walking route 8 km from the center of Marmaris is suitable only for those who like active walks.
A more comfortable option is to take a taxi. Popular services in Marmaris: Taxi Caravanserai, Port Taxi and Marmaris Taksi. Nimar Cave - a great place for a family visit, there are benches for rest nearby. However, shops and cafes are located only on the sea pier, so it is worth taking enough water with you. The path, although not very long, is difficult due to the rugged terrain.
After visiting the cave, you can relax on the clean beach of Paradise Island, walk along the sandy spit and swim in the warm azure waters. This island is one of the few connected to the mainland, and in the vicinity of Marmaris there are other interesting ones, including uninhabited ones.
If you want to see more, you can go on a sea tour of the Aegean Islands. As part of the Marmaris boat tours you will visit the confluence of two seas - the Gulf of Hisaronu, the Aquarium and Semiliye bays, as well as the islands of Camellia and Zubchaty. At the end of the walk you will find the Maiden's Spit - another unique natural wonder.
